Danny Ainge said on Thursday that Kelly Olynyk does not need shoulder surgery but that he will miss a couple of weeks.

Olynyk has all sorts of upside but this is a pretty major irritant to his value.  View him as a mid-to-low level stash if you would like, but passing on a mid-to-high level free agent doesn’t make much sense unless you’re stacked.  Jared Sullinger’s floor as a must-own 12-team player gets a bit more solid with this news, and low-upside but late-round value Amir Johnson also becomes a bit of a safer play.
