Al Horford has been ruled out of Sunday’s game due to a right elbow sprain.
We’re not sure of which elbow it is but a Sunday matinee against the Suns is a great time to rest some players if you’re the Celtics. We’ll pass along details as they become available. In the meantime, Kelly Olynyk is a good player to consider in a spot start here and Amir Johnson is always worth a look in these spots.
Update: This doesn’t seem truly precautionary so we’ll be watching it closely. As of now, it’s probably a good bet that the injury is day-to-day versus week-to-week but we really don’t know.
Update II: Horford says he doesn’t have a timetable for return and we’re simply going to call him ‘out indefinitely.’ His comments show how the injury happened on Friday against the Lakers, but don’t change the prior assessment.
Brad won't put timeline on Horford injury other than to say it's not long-term. Bradley is not related to Achilles but team being cautious.

Al Horford says he doesn't have a timetable for his return. Hurt elbow blocking a shot vS LAL and is getting around-the-clock treatment.
