Al Horford is still dealing with an illness and is questionable ahead of Wednesday’s game with the Wizards.
Horford missed Sunday’s game and wasn’t present at the team facility yesterday as the Celtics give him ample time to rest and recover. If he does return, he’ll be looking at big time responsibilities with Kyrie Irving on the shelf — not that you needed extra incentive to play him. If he doesn’t, Greg Monroe should get plenty of run as Boston’s biggest traditional frontcourt weapon. Marcus Morris should also see more time at power forward and has been a standard league guy over the last few weeks while Aron Baynes should pick up work at center, though he remains a deep league rebounding asset with little upside. The Cs have also recalled Guerschon Yabusele from the G-League, and he’ll operate in small-ball lineups but isn’t a fantasy consideration for now.
