Alan Williams was able to participate in 5-on-5 work at Monday’s practice and could return this week.

Williams may play tomorrow but is more likely to make an appearance on Thursday against the Jazz. Big Sauce has been sidelined all year with a torn meniscus but should see some run down the stretch. He won’t get back to a full workload right away but fantasy owners should remember his production binge late last season. Williams averaged 10.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks in 19 games last March, dropping some wonderful lines in only 22.7 mpg. He’ll be taking minutes from Tyson Chandler and Alex Len when he returns this time around, and it’s going to be a roll of the dice every single night unless Chandler gets shut down again. Williams is a worthy flier in deep leagues but probably won’t shake off the rust in time to really get rolling.
