Amir Johnson will do work in shootaround and before the game to see if he can play in Tuesday’s Game 4 against the Cavs.
Johnson sprained his shoulder in a battle with Tristan Thompson under the hoop, and some have started questioning the legality of the play. While there won’t be any discipline on the play, Johnson said his shoulder is feeling better and he’ll try to give it a go tonight. Until his status is determined we won’t know the Celtics’ starters and it’s entirely possible that Johnson shifts back to the bench anyway. Brad Stevens could turn back to Gerald Green or maybe even Jonas Jerebko, who made a big impression in Game 3.
