The Celtics will be without Amir Johnson (shoulder) in Tuesday’s Game 4 against the Cavs, and ESPN’s Michael Eaves is reporting that Kelly Olynyk could draw into the starting lineup in his place.
Johnson has started frequently in these playoffs but rarely surpasses the mid-teens in terms of minutes played. Brad Stevens has typically gone with Gerald Green as a starter when Johnson comes off the bench but it sounds like Kelly Olynyk’s strong play on Sunday may have earned him the spot. He was brutal in the first two games of the series so expect a short leash if things get out of hand. Jonas Jerebko is also a dark horse candidate thanks to an impactful Game 3.
