Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau said Andrew Wiggins sprained his ankle in Wednesday’s loss versus the Bucks, according to Jon Krawczynski.
Wiggins played through the injury so it does not appear to be too serious. If he is forced to miss any games look for Shabazz Muhammad and Jamal Crawford to benefit the most, with Muhammad likely being inserted into the starting lineup. The Timberwolves do not play again until Sunday versus the Pacers, but an update should be provided by the Timberwolves medical staff later in the day.
