Anthony Davis (right quad) is officially listed as questionable but expected to play on Monday vs. the Cavs.
Davis did not practice Saturday or Sunday but the Pelicans are just being cautious. The injury is said to be “basically a charley horse,” but this is one of the many injuries that Davis has been battling through to stay on the court. While Davis said he’s getting better every day, he added that he’s still sore and is “not sure” about his status. Whether he plays or not, Terrence Jones should be owned.
Update: Davis is questionable on Monday vs. Cavs.
Update: Coach Alvin Gentry said Davis “doesn’t look good” when moving laterally. He should be considered doubtful.
Gentry says Anthony Davis (R thigh bruise) is a gametime decision but that it "doesn't look good." Davis is having trouble moving laterally.
