Austin Rivers (ankle) said he plans on returning on February 9, when the Clippers face the Pistons, according to Brad Turner.
Rivers has not played since December 29 and has missed a total of 16 games. He aims to return for a game that is expected to be full of emotion, as it would be the first time Blake Griffin will be matched up against his former team. Expect Rivers to be eased back into his minutes, but eventually grab hold of the starting shooting guard role once again. Tyrone Wallace should shift back to a bench role.
