Austin Rivers took a shot to the head in the second half of Saturday’s game against the Pelicans and did not return.
Rivers stayed in the game after hitting his head and then fell to his knees after a dead ball and then was helped off the floor. It was a bit of a scary moment and we’ll let you know when we get an update. He finished with 18 points, two boards, four assists, one steal and four treys over 28 minutes in a start for Blake Griffin.
Update: Rivers has what the Clippers are calling a mild concussion. Raymond Felton and Jamal Crawford (22 points) are going to have low-end value in deeper leagues for however long he is out.
