Avery Bradley (achilles) is out on Saturday, Marcus Smart will start against the Pelicans.
It’s a strained achilles’, which along with hamstrings are of the more serious variety. However, it’s still considered a minor injury to this point. Bradley is having a monster year going from top-65 value last season to top-35 so far this year. The defensive minded guard even cracked the top-25 over the last two weeks. In his absence Marcus Smart will start and play around 35 minutes while Isaiah Thomas will receive a boost in usage. In the last game Bradley missed Thomas dropped 52 points on the Heat. Both Smart and Thomas make for solid DFS plays.
Bradley strained his Achilles. Didn't feel great when he shot around today. Said the Celtics will be "appropriately conservative" with him.
