Avery Bradley, who remains out for at least a week, is headed to see a specialist for his groin injury on Thursday, per Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press.
Depending on the diagnosis, Bradley might not need to be held in standard leagues. In terms of total value he’s barely inside the top-140 in 9-cat and is still outside the top-100 in 8-cat. He looks even worse on a per game basis. Predictably, Bradley, who got a ton of value from leading the inept-on-the-glass Celtics in rebounding last season, has seen those numbers fall off a cliff. Hopefully you didn’t buy the hype during draft season. Luke Kennard, Reggie Bullock, Stanley Johnson and Langston Galloway all figure to see some extra run while Bradley is out with Bullock and Johnson the closest to standard league relevance.
