Bradley Beal (pelvis) did not travel with the Wizards as they embark on a three-game road trip out West.
This does not mean that he will miss the entire trip but rather that he stayed back and got treatment on Monday. Beal said he’s feeling a lot better but he is banged up on a few different fronts and as we’ve been saying since forever his outlook isn’t all that great. Owners will want to see if he can get back on the floor within a week or so and if things continue to deteriorate we’ll look at the value of a drop. For now there’s enough theoretic mid-round upside and late-round likelihood for owners to see this out at least throughout the week, unless you’re playing right now for your fantasy life.
Jared Dudley is back on the radar as a potential late-round play for however long Beal is out. Alan Anderson needs to prove he can stay healthy before we’ll talk about him as anything but a streaming flier, and Garrett Temple is always in the mix for minutes but there’s no guarantee he’ll do anything with them.
