Brandon Ingram has been ruled out of Monday’s game against the Pacers with a strained left groin.
It’s no surprise, though Ingram could return at some point on the team’s four-game road trip. There’s also hope that he can get in some contact work at practice between Monday and Thursday’s game. Kyle Kuzma will maintain the starting job until Ingram returns and is a nice option for points, threes and rebounds. How much Ingram plays immediately upon returning remains to be seen but owners should at least start to map out their roster machinations if he’s sitting on the wire.
