Brandon Ingram will not play on Saturday night due to continued pain in his groin and will undergo an MRI tomorrow.
The injury is officially termed a strained hip flexor. He had been rocking and rolling of late, putting together a two-week run of incredible top-10 production. Hopefully he can get even close to that again upon his return, as the wiry forward appeared to be putting it all together. Isaiah Thomas will handle an increased scoring burden while Kyle Kuzma is the likely replacement starter. Give both players a little more consideration if you’re weighing lineup decisions for next week.
