After being re-evaluated on Saturday morning, Brandon Ingram has been diagnosed with a concussion and placed in the league’s concussion protocol.
It’s brutal news as Ingram had just returned from a month-long absence thanks to a groin strain. Kyle Kuzma lit it up last night and will probably move right back into the starting five, so there’s no need to remove him from fantasy lineups. Josh Hart should also log more time on the wing, too. Hopefully Ingram isn’t out long but owners battling for their seasons in H2H playoff matchups might be forced to move on with him guaranteed to miss tomorrow’s game. Depending on the severity of the concussion, a shutdown is one possible path the Lakers could take with their promising youngster.
