Sixers’ coach Brett Brown gets the sense that Joel Embiid will be able to give it a go on Tuesday against the Wolves.
It’s still not a for sure thing, but there seems to be a strong likelihood that Embiid suits up for this one. His return will muddle the waters for all three of the Sixers’ power forwards. As far as we know Richaun Holmes will still get the backup minutes at center and could still see some time at power forward. Robert Covington (back) is looking more likely to sit which could open up more time for the bigs if the Sixers elect to play bigger at the three. It’s a situation to monitor and Holmes is still the best add of all the backup bigs.
