Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young will both be rested for Saturday’s game against the Wolves and Willie Reed and Thomas Robinson will start.
Markel Brown had the waiver wire line of the night (H/T Josh Lloyd of the Red Rock Basketball Podcast) last night with 21 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three treys after doing practically nothing all season. Shane Larkin was pretty good given his struggles with 12 points, two treys, three boards and eight assists. Thomas Robinson is worth a hard look in DFS and even in daily standard leagues, but really we’re at a loss for who will actually get minutes in the frontcourt. Chris McCullough scored six points with one rebound and two blocks in 12 minutes on Friday against the Nuggets, and along with Willie Reed (DNP-CD) they’re the only big men on the roster.
Look for Donald Sloan, Larkin, Bojan Bogdanovic and Wayne Ellington to play near their maxes for tonight, and Brown is going to be a popular play in DFS but he might be worth fading with all those expectations and a game log from hell.
