Speaking about Jabari Parker, Bucks GM Jon Horst told Steve Aschburner of NBA.com “This is about a 22-year-old kid who is one of the best young talents in the league, and making sure he comes back physically in the right way.”
Horst went on to say, “For Jabari and the Bucks, this is not about this year.” Parker tore his ACL for the second time last season in February and was originally given a timetable of 12 months. However, it doesn’t sound as if the Bucks are planning on rushing his return. If you can stash him in IR slot, he may prove to be a valuable asset. However, he’s probably not worth watching all that closely until we get closer to a return date next February.
