Kentavious Caldwell-Pope missed the Lakers’ game last Thursday due to legal issues.
Caldwell-Pope is being punished for allowing an intoxicated person to drive one of his vehicles while a member of the Pistons. He is working with authorities to keep his basketball commitments, but still might miss a few more games during the season.
Basically: the court modified KCP's sentence to help him comply & deal with an NBA schedule. So now he'll do a 25-day intensive program in California (w/travel restrictions that could cause him to miss a couple additional games). But he'll be done w/ it I f he completes program
