Chandler Parsons (hamstring) and Wesley Matthews (knee) will both be evaluated on Saturday before their status for Sunday’s game will be determined.
Matthews said he will be “fine” and Rick Carlisle said he did not believe Parsons’ injury was serious. If Parsons does not go, then owners’ best bets are going to be Raymond Felton (13 points, two boards, six assists, one three, two blocks, 27 minutes), J.J. Barea (16 points, 6-of-16 FGs, three boards, seven assists, two threes, 28 minutes) or Devin Harris (eight points, two boards, 20 minutes).
They tend to vary in their production and we like them in this order, but be careful to look at their respective stat sets to find the best fit for your lineup. Even if Parsons does play, one of them tends to wander above the cut-line in standard leagues every night. Don’t be surprised if Justin Anderson gets a start, but he hasn’t been productive so owners can ignore him.
Rick Carlisle said Chandler Parsons and Wesley Matthews will come in for treatment tomorrow before determining their availability Sunday.
