• It was revealed after Wednesday’s game that Chris Paul has been diagnosed with a strained adductor and that his status for Friday is uncertain.

Paul was originally reported to be dealing with a sore left leg, which raised some red flags since it’s his left knee that cost him the early portions of the season. In that regard it’s positive news, but a strained adductor has felled Anthony Davis for a handful of games and stuck Devin Booker with a 2-3 week timetable. We’d bet against seeing CP3 for the rest of the week but stranger things have happened. Eric Gordon would probably reenter the starting five and is in line for a nice boost while Paul is out.
