• Coach Fred Hoiberg confirmed that Kris Dunn will be sidelined for 2-4 weeks with a dislocated finger, per K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

Dunn visited a specialist yesterday and the original estimate has held up. His injury opens to door for Jerian Grant to start for the first few weeks of the season, and perhaps he can string together some good games and keep Dunn at bay even after his return. Dunn was expected to win the starting point guard job but will now have to be eased back into things, though we expect him to be starting at some point this year. Neither player is a great fantasy play and Grant is only worth owning if you’re desperate for guard stats to begin the year.
