Robert Covington (concussion) and Richaun Holmes (Achilles) are both playing on Wednesday against the Nuggets.
Covington was expected to play and Holmes will be on a 15-minute limit but as we mentioned earlier we like some of the Sixers’ bulkier bigs to play against the Nuggets’ stable of larger centers. Covington can be put right back into lineups unless you’re super sensitive to field goal percentage. He can be used but it’s possible he has a rust game at a higher volume. Holmes can be watched from the wire.
UPDATE: Covington is coming off the bench and it’s starting to look like he’ll be eased back in. On a busy night he’s not an auto-start, especially if you’re sensitive to field goal percentage. He should still be in many lineups.
