The Bulls are listing Cristiano Felicio as questionable for tonight’s tilt against the Pistons.
Felicio took a very hard fall last night when Patrick Patterson blocked a duck attempt, and the young center remained down for a few minutes. If Felicio were to remain out, the Bulls would lose a huge part of their frontcourt depth. This injury – if it persists – coupled with the looming Robin Lopez suspension, opens the door for Chicago to play a little smaller for a few games. Paul Zipser, Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic might get more action though none of the three have been consistent enough to warrant ownership right now. Keep an eye on this one, especially after the Lopez suspension gets announced. Sometimes it’s about opportunity over all else.
Update: With Lopez only suspended for one game, Felicio would miss his chance at starting if he’s out tonight.
His appeal was very low to begin with, and now it’s basically nonexistent.
