Damian Lillard (ankle) said that he felt ‘way better’ after going through portions of practice and doing his own full speed workout after on Saturday.
“It feels way better, I went through a full speed workout with no limitations,” said Lillard after Saturday’s practice in Minneapolis. He also said that “…I did my own little workout at the end for the last 20 minutes or so, full speed normal stuff. It felt pretty good. Some stuff, it didn’t hurt but I wasn’t really comfortable with it. It wasn’t completely comfortable, so just going to keep working out and keep working that swelling out, that soreness out, trying to get back. I’m not going to rush it, at this point I might as well wait until completely ready to go.” He remains doubtful for Sunday’s showdown against the Wolves but there is a chance for Lillard to return on Wednesday against the Warriors. If Lillard is to remain out, expect C.J. McCollum, Allen Crabbe and Evan Turner to benefit.
