Russell hit 8-of-20 shots from the field and 3-of-3 from the line to finish with 22 points, three treys, three boards, two assists and three steals in Sunday night’s 101-88 loss to the Wizards.
Russell logged 31 minutes despite being doubtful to even play this one after what looked like a season-ending injury on Friday. His backcourt mate Jordan Clarkson didn’t fare as well shooting 1-of-7 from the floor to finish with five boards, three dimes and three turnovers. The Lakers play on three of the game-heaviest days next week so daily leaguers may want to find better alternatives in order to maximize your man-games.
