D’Angelo Russell (knee/calf) will be sidelined 1-2 weeks with a mildly sprained right knee and a strained left calf.
Earlier in the season Russell received a PRP injection in his left knee, so this new injury was to his better knee. The Lakers are going to be cautious with Russell so it is unlikely that he will return before two weeks. But he will be re-evaluated in one week so we will learn more then. With Russell on the sidelines, the Lakers may look to start Ingram or Clarkson at the point guard spot and Lou Williams will take on more of the offensive responsibility.
