Danilo Gallinari (glute) returned to action in the Clippers’ 113-107 loss to the Wolves on Wednesday, scoring seven points on 2-of-13 shooting with four rebounds, one steal and one trey over 26 minutes.
Nobody was expecting Gallo to come out firing and he’s going to have two opposing ideals working for him going forward. The first is that he’s extremely well-positioned to produce with Blake Griffin out. The other is that we’re not sure if Gallinari is looking at a serious dropoff in effectiveness or just a mild one this season. He’s not a spring chicken and starting the year off hurt isn’t the greatest sign. Regardless he’s a must-own player.
