Danilo Gallinari (left knee bone bruise) will be back in action on Friday against the Pacers after missing the previous four games.
Bone bruises are tricky injuries that take a long time to heal. Pain tolerance may be an issue for Gallinari for the rest of the season and it will be interesting to see how many minutes he will play tonight. He was quoted as saying his knee was, “Not perfect, but good enough to play.”We are assuming Gallinari will retain his starting small forward role, moving Wilson Chandler to the power forward, and reducing Mason Plumlee and Juan Hernangomez’s minutes. Plumlee has been producing top-50 value over the last two weeks but the Nuggets simply have too much depth right now. You may be faced with a very difficult decision regarding Plumlee but keep in mind the Nuggets only play three games next week.
