David Nwaba (ankle) targeting a return to game action on Sunday.
Nwaba was given a 2-4 week timetable about two weeks ago and it looks like he’ll definitely be returning on the later side of that. It seems like the Bulls organization, coach Fred Hoiberg in particular, really likes what Nwaba offers them. Hoiberg said that the Bulls miss what Nwaba brings to the table in terms of rebounding and defense, but that the important thing is to make sure he’s 100 percent before bringing him back. When he does return he isn’t worth much more than a flier due to a pretty stacked Bulls backcourt that is trying to give minutes to all of its players.
Update: Nwaba is targeting a return Sunday and he was flirting with some fantasy value but as guys return owners will want to take a wait-and-see approach.
David Nwaba is targeting a Sunday return to game action, but it depends how his ankle reacts to Saturday's practice.
