Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports that Delon Wright (shoulder) has progressed to 3-on-3 work but still doesn’t have a timetable for his return.
While the team didn’t release a timetable, the common speculation is that his dislocated shoulder would cost him a month. He’s nearing the end of that timeframe and is making good progress, though the Raptors don’t need him to hurry back given the strong play of Fred VanVleet. The two will probably split time for the rest of the regular season with the hot hand getting more minutes on any given night. They’re both on the deep league radar — Wright for defensive stats and VanVleet for 3-pointers and a smattering of assists.
Update: TSN’s Josh Lewenberg is speculating that Wright returns next weekend.
