DeMarcus Cousins scored 29 points on 9-of-18 shooting (1-of-3 3PTs, 10-of-14 FTs) with 11 rebounds and one block in the Kings’ 116-94 win over the Suns on Friday, and it was revealed after the game that he may need a PRP treatment on his feet when the season is done.
“I’ve been playing with tendinitis in my feet all season,” Cousins told James Ham of CSN. “That’s why you see me walking up and down funny. Hopefully this procedure goes well and I can start preparing for Team USA.” This doesn’t sound great for his status for the rest of the season, but he could easily play out the rest of the slate because of the significance of the final games in the old arena or any other number of Kangzy reasons.
