Devin Booker is still questionable to face the Hornets on Saturday evening.
The Suns have given resolution on three of their four injured players, but are saving the best for last. Booker popped up on the injury report with a triceps strain a day after dropping 30 points and is looking like a game-time call for tonight. It doesn’t seem like tanking gamesmanship from the Suns, as if they really wanted to manipulate the odds they’d probably stop giving Booker huge minutes in the first place. There will be tons of usage to spread around if Booker sits, especially given Phoenix’s other injuries, and it seems like Troy Daniels is the leading candidate to start. Booker has also been handling a lot of playmaking responsibilities and the Suns could fill the void with two-guard looks, so Shaq Harrison and perhaps Tyler Ulis stand to benefit. Daniels is a nice stream if you need threes while the two point guards present a viable, albeit less inspiring, option.
