Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles) will miss at least the Mavs’ next two games according to Rick Carlisle.
“Dirk’s situation is improving, but he is really out indefinitely,” Carlisle told 103.3 FM ESPN. His owners should hope that the Mavs start winning some games because at their current rate they’re going to give him playing time to maintain but not to produce. Justin Anderson is the best bet behind him as a stash/low-end guy and the rest of the offense comes and goes for just about everybody. Players like Seth Curry, Wesley Matthews or Jonathan Gibson don’t necessarily get a boost without the Diggler on the court.
