Dirk Nowitzki finished Tuesday’s win against the Bulls with 10 points (3-of-9 from the field, 4-of-6 from the line), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.
The double-double was only Dirk’s first on the season, but he’s been better as Rick Carlisle has been giving him an increased workload over the last four games. He’s posted top-75 over that time with 17.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.0 blocks and 2.8 threes in 29.1 minutes on 46.3 percent from the field. Andrew Bogut (hamstring) isn’t going to be joining the team anytime soon, so Dirk should continue to get the starts at center. Salah Mejri played 18 minutes and finished with three points and five rebounds with little else.
