Clippers head coach Doc Rivers doesn’t think Austin Rivers will be able to return to the lineup for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Jazz.
Rivers hasn’t been able to suit up since injuring his hamstring back on March 29 and his father/coach thinks it’s unlikely he’s healthy enough to make that return on Sunday. “I don’t think so,” Doc Rivers said Friday regarding Austin’s availability for Game 4. “I don’t know. I think he probably thinks that for sure. He’s feeling better. He’s working out. But I just don’t see that. I think that’s awfully quick.” The Clips would love to get him back out there but they also don’t want to rush it.
