Jazz rookie guard Donovan Mitchell (toe) will sit out Wednesday’s contest against the Thunder.
Mitchell will miss his first game of the season and his starting spot will be assumed by Rodney Hood with Alec Burks backing him up. Both players will be used heavily. The injury doesn’t appear to be serious and the rookie’s next chance to play is on Thursday. Mitchell has been a top-60 asset this year and even cracked the top-50 over the last two weeks by boosting his field goal percentage to 46.6 percent. Despite this recent improvement he is going to have a lot of inefficient nights from the field and can really hurt you that category unless you are punting it.
