Dwyane Wade (hamstring) and Hassan Whiteside (hip) are both out for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.
The Heat are sitting pretty as the seventh seed and are not in much danger of missing the playoffs, so no reason to rush back their star players. Wade is not worth holding onto even when healthy, but Whiteside is if you have an open IR spot or can stomach a few more missed games. Their next chance to return is Friday against the Thunder, but consider them highly questionable for that contest. While they are out Kelly Olynyk and James Johnson need to be owned everywhere.
