Coach Fred Hoiberg didn’t rule Dwyane Wade out of Saturday’s game against the Nets after practice today, leaving the door open for a surprising in-season return for the Bulls’ starting two guard.
This would be a remarkable recovery, as Wade was quickly ruled out for the season when he sustained a fractured right elbow on March 15th. The Bulls will see how he feels over the next few days but it’s looking like D Wade will be ready to help with one final playoff push. The veteran has been a top-60 guy this year on a per-game basis and should be picked up if you have the space. He’ll likely need to knock off some rust but Wade has always been tough as nails and very thorough when it comes to taking care of his body. Besides, you’d be hard pressed to find someone with that kind of upside elsewhere on the wire.
