LA Times’ beat reporter Brad Turner says that early indications are that Clippers’ forward Blake Griffin has a sprained MCL and will be out for an extended period of time.
There is still no official word from the organization and this is just an estimate so owners should hang in there and wait for more as the day progresses. The Clippers are really deep this year and it will take a few games to figure out who the real beneficiary could be in Blake’s potential absence but minutes should primarily go to Montrezl Harrell, Sam Dekker, Willie Reed and Danilo Gallinari once he is back from his glute injury.
After reviewing more tape of Blake Griffin’s left knee injury, early indications are that Clippers forward has a sprained MCL and will be out for extended period of time. Clippers will know full extend after complete test today.
