Knicks center Enes Kanter (back) practiced on Tuesday and could play on Wednesday against the Heat.
Kanter missed the last three games with the ailment and wanted to play Monday, but the training staff held him out. After practicing Tuesday it looks like the big man is on track to play on Wednesday against the Heat and slide back into his starting role. The Knicks may limit his minutes the first night back so Kyle O’Quinn and Willy Hernangomez could still play more backup minutes Wednesday before settling back into their normal roles. Joakim Noah played three minutes on Monday and is a DNP candidate for Wednesday.
Enes Kanter is probable to play tomorrow against Miami, according to Jeff Hornacek.
