Gary Harris will be out for at least another week after suffering a right knee injury on Thursday against the Pistons.
Harris already missed Saturday’s game, a crushing loss to the lowly Grizzlies. While Garris has been a top-30 stud this season owners might be forced to cut him loose if they can’t afford a stash in this upcoming playoff week. It does sound like he’ll be able to return this season, but the lack of clarity on a potential return date makes him a very risky hold. It’s also possible that the Nuggets (who just lost to the Grizzlies, mind you) could shut him down if they fade quickly in the playoff chase. They lost to the Grizzlies without Harris, just to make it clear. Will Barton will start and needs to be in all fantasy lineups as usual, while bench guys like Torrey Craig, Devin Harris and Malik Beasley will all see an uptick in minutes. For what it’s worth, Craig played 16 minutes last night while Beasley was a DNP.
