• Rudy Gay (hip) and Omri Casspi (illness) are both ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Blazers.

Dave Joerger said on Monday to Grant Napear of 1140 KHTK that Gay would probably miss both back-to-back games if he did not go tonight and that he needed to still talk to trainers later in the evening.  Maybe something new developed during the conversation but either way the upgrade is notable.  Stay tuned for more.

Update: Gay and Casspi have both been ruled out and this puts Gay’s status into question for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz, too.  DeMarcus Cousins will have a huge night, barring something odd like foul trouble, and then Garrett Temple, Matt Barnes and Kosta Koufos are threats for late-round value.
