Goran Dragic will play on Monday against the Celtics and Hassan Whiteside (knee) is a game-time decision.
With Tyler Johnson (dental surgery) and Dion Waiters (groin) out it’s going to be the Josh Richardson show next to Dragic. If Whiteside cannot go then Willie Reed will be looking at 25 minutes at center and Spo will probably run James Johnson into the ground. In a points league Derrick Williams could make sense, and it’s possible we might have our very first Luke Babbitt alert of the year. Wayne Ellington (thigh) is capped at 15 minutes tonight.
Update: Whiteside will warm up and see how he feels and according to Spo he had an MRI that might have helped to assuage fears about playing. Whiteside has always sat at the slightest concern of injury so this is a tough call, but the Heat really need him to go and if we’re guessing blindly here we think he will play.
Update II: Whiteside will play and we have our first Luke Babbitt alert of the season as he is starting tonight. In a four-game week with this type of oddness he’s worth a desperation play in 14-16 team leagues. Richardson will come off the bench and that’s probably to balance the point guard minutes behind Dragic. Rodney McGruder is also in the starting lineup and he’s a better option than Babbitt and is worth a look as a low-end play in 12-team formats.
Dragic will play for Heat, and Whiteside will warm up and see how he feels.

Spoelstra on Whiteside's knee, "He ended up getting an MRI this morning. Everything was totally clear, and I think that cleared his mind."
