• Gordon Hayward
    SG/SF, Boston Celtics

Gordon Hayward (leg) isn’t yet ready to travel with the Celtics on road trips.

It doesn’t look like we’ll see Hayward return this season, especially not this fantasy season. Coach Brad Stevens outlined what the Celtics have Hayward doing, saying ” He’s gonna do another alter-G process or progress starting on Sunday where he goes from 60 percent of his body weight all the way to 100, and then once he gets to 100 — once he can do stuff where he’s running or jumping, then it makes sense to bring him on the road.” The Celtics have made their way to the second seed in the East without Hayward even playing a full quarter so they have no reason to rush him back.

Fantasy News

  • Dewayne Dedmon
    C, Atlanta Hawks

Bruno Fernando will start against the Magic on Wednesday in place of Dewayne Dedmon (right elbow pain), who has been ruled out.

Dedmon has been on a nice stretch since joining the Hawks. Fernando will draw the start while Damian Jones will see some minutes off the bench. Neither Fernando nor Jones are viable in fantasy this season but Fernando could have some DFS appeal as a low-cost option. Dedmon's next opportunity to play will be on Friday vs. the Nets.

  • Dante Exum
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

According to head coach J.B. Bickerstaff, Dante Exum will miss an extended period of time with a sprained left ankle.

Exum has dealt with injuries for his entire NBA career. He has not played in more than 42 games since his second season. He can be safely dropped across redraft formats.

  • Bismack Biyombo
    C, Charlotte Hornets

Bismack Biyombo will draw the start ahead of Wednesday's contest vs. the Knicks.

It was also reported that Cody Zeller would be active but would likely not play on Wednesday. Willy Hernangómez will be the primary back-up to Biyombo. Neither player is worth rostering in standard formats but Hernangómez has the higher upside.

  • Trae Young
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Trae Young (illness) has been upgraded to probable ahead of Wednesday's tilt vs. the Magic.

Young has been a top-15 fantasy player all season while he sees a significant boost in 8-cat leagues due to the 4.9 turnovers he averages per game. If he does play, he should be locked in across leagues.

  • Bam Adebayo
    C, Miami Heat

Bam Adebayo (right ankle sprain) has been downgraded to questionable ahead of Wednesday's matchup vs. the Wolves.

The Heat will welcome back Jimmy Butler on Wednesday but are now in jeopardy of being without their young All-Star. Chris Silva would become an intriguing low-cost DFS play if Adebayo doesn't end up playing while Kelly Olynyk could see some additional opportunity. Continue to monitor for updates ahead of tip-off.

  • Dewayne Dedmon
    C, Atlanta Hawks

Dewayne Dedmon has been downgraded to questionable ahead of Wednesday's tilt vs. the Magic as he deals with pain in his right elbow.

If Dedmon is unable to play on Wednesday, look for Bruno Fernando to start while Damian Jones see some time off the bench. Continue to monitor as we should learn more prior to the 7:30pm ET tip-off.

  • Elfrid Payton
    PG, New York Knicks

Elfrid Payton (right ankle soreness) will return to action for Wednesday’s matchup vs. the Hornets.

Payton will be able to play in his first game after the All-Star break, after missing the last two contests. He has proven to be the most reliable point guard that the Knicks have on their roster this season and should be rostered across standard formats as he is currently producing top-91/108 per-game value in 8/9-cat this season. Dennis Smith Jr. will head back to the bench but could see limited minutes with Frank Ntilikina (groin) sideline.

  • Wayne Ellington
    SG, New York Knicks

Wayne Ellington (illness) will face the Hornets on Wednesday.

Ellington has played sparingly over the last month and only has relevance in 30-team leagues at this time. He can be ignored across all other formats.

  • Shabazz Napier
    PG, Washington Wizards

Shabazz Napier will make his first start since joining the Wizards on Wednesday as they take on the Nets.

Napier will earn his first start for the Wizards after coming off the bench in the last seven contests. If he takes over the starting role for the remainder of the season, he becomes a must-own fantasy asset across formats. Scoop him up if he is still on the wire. Ish Smith will likely see his value take a hit with this news.

  • Davis Bertans
    F, Washington Wizards

Dāvis Bertāns (right knee soreness) will play in Wednesday’s tilt vs. the Nets.

Bertāns will return to the floor on Wednesday after missing the Wizards' last game. Bertāns can be fired up across all formats. Moritz Wagner could see his minutes decrease with Dāvis back in the mix.
