Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reported that the Grizzlies were thinking about shutting down Chandler Parsons and followed up by saying he’d be surprised if Parsons played again this year.
It’s probably for the best at this point, as removing Parsons from the equation would allow the Grizzlies to work on firming up their rotations as they head to the playoffs. James Ennis probably gets the biggest value bump as the presumptive starter, even if Vince Carter got the nod tonight. Ennis can give you some very low amounts of everything whereas VC is good for threes and the occasional scoring outburst. There isn’t a ton of gold to be sifted here.
