The Grizzlies are hopeful that Chandler Parsons’s knees won’t keep him from being a full participant in this fall’s training camp.
Parsons signed a huge deal last offseason but was limited to just 34 games due to his injury problems. When healthy he remains an effective player that would give Memphis some very different dimensions. The future looks bright under David Fizdale, and having Parsons would unlock a lot of things for the Grizz on offense. His balky knees led to what was essentially a career-worst season, but the team is hoping that a full offseason of rest does the trick. He remains a high-risk pick for fantasy owners who is sure to miss time next season (through either injury or rest days) regardless of how he shows up to camp.
