There is growing optimism that Kawhi Leonard could make his 2017-2018 debut sometime this week during the Spurs’ three-game homestand.
If Leonard returns for the third game of the homestand he will have the opportunity to play in 57 games this year. Given the Spurs are conservative with injuries expect Leonard to come back slowly and play about 75-80 percent of his regular minutes his first week or so back. This would put Leonard at about 25-27 minutes per game but all that we care about is seeing him back on the court.
