March 28, 2018, 1:20 pmHassan WhitesideC, Miami Heat
Hassan Whiteside (hip) was back at practice on Wednesday and could play tomorrow night against the Bulls.
Whiteside has been sidelined for a few weeks with a hip injury that the Heat haven't discussed much. They declined to even give him a timetable for this ailment after he rocketed past the last timetable they gave him for a knee issue earlier in the year. While you have to get Whitside back in all lineups once he's good to go, he's likely to be limited for his first few games back. His return would hurt Kelly Olynyk some, but KO would still remain a must-start option. If anything it'll crush the other players who occasionally operate in the frontcourt like Justise Winslow, Bam Adebayo and Jordan Mickey. Check back tomorrow for final word.
